A new edition of the Salou Christmas Market yesterday opened its "doors", with an offer of free activities and workshops that will make all family members enjoy it for free. The market, which opened yesterday with the itinerant show "Beduins", has as its motto "At Christmas make your store Salou", a food and gift market where you can enjoy a wide range of workshops and free activities as a family. The show, in charge of LA FAM Teatre, will begin at 6 pm at the Plaça de la Pau, where a group of nomadic mosquitoes, along with their giant dromedary, will enter the town center with a parade until arriving at Plaça Sant Jordi; and will have a set of lights, moving heads and sound, as well as aerial acrobatics. The Christmas Market is an initiative of the Department of Economic Promotion, Trade and Markets of the City of Salou, and may be visited at the Plaça Sant Jordi at the following times: Wednesday, December 5 until 9 pm, from 6 December 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 9 p.m., and Sunday, December 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Mayor Pere Granados pointed out that "it is important to boost the shopping centers to attract the attention of the public and to be aware that buying in local establishments generates employment and wealth in the same municipality". In addition, the Christmas Market comes accompanied by a set of activities to enjoy as a family. Every day of the fair the trip with the Magical Train will be available, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. On December 6th you can participate in the cooking workshop "The Christmas sweet tree" from 11: 30h to 13: 30h; and at 12 o'clock you can enjoy the music of Dj Strictly Vinyls. In the afternoon, the youngest will be able to sign up for the airbrushing tattoo shop, and at 7:00 pm the Txarango Bandsonats will perform.
On Friday, December 7th in the morning, families will be able to make their own popcorn, and in the afternoon they will be able to enjoy another fantasy makeup workshop and the performance of the Stromboli Jazz Band. On Saturday you can create chocolate lollipops at a workshop from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and enjoy again the music of Dj Strictly Vinyls at 12 o'clock; and later, in the afternoon, the great Musical Playroom will take place and at 6:00 pm the performance of María Jacobs Duet Jimmy Vidal. The last day of the Christmas fair will be offered by the Marató TV3 accompanied by the music of Blues Alley Quintet, with the collaboration of Michelangelo Supermarkets. Attendees must make a minimum solidarity contribution of one euro and wait at the end of the toast to make a joint photo of the participants.
During the Christmas campaign, you can also enjoy the display of Christmas trees decorated by the primary schools of the municipality in the Municipal Market, and, with the purchase in the Municipal Market you can buy a Christmas plant.
