Salou. Costa Dorada. The City Council of Salou strengthens public safety campaign during the summer months with the support of the local police of Salou and the Catalan police. Both bodies have coordinated and conducted a joint patrol the beaches and points where there is more concentration of people in the city. This patrol is planned and directed, with different routes daily. This year has increased the number of hours monitoring service 300 hours a week. In addition, both Catalan Police and local police have set up another device with fellow agents designed to prevent theft and places of high concentration of people. During the morning patrol points as the municipal market and the beach areas, and by evening most central and busiest streets in the city. In the night shift, also strengthens prevention in order to act before any incident. In this line, there is a permanent coordination with the security guards of the train with police, local police and other security professionals. The trend of crimes during the summer months has fallen compared to last year the municipality of Salou The mayor of Salou, Peter Granados, met in July during the board of Public Safety, the Catalan police chief of Police Region Area, the chief of police of Salou/Vila- dry, and members of the Territorial Department of the Interior of the Government at Tarragona.
