Marcelo Cairo, won the trophy in Costa Daurada Optimist

Cambrils. Costa Dorada. The Yacht Club sailor Cambrils, Marcelo Cairo, has been awarded the Trophy Costa Daurada sailing the Optimist class which was held this past weekend of September 4, 2011 in waters of Salou. The sailor Cambrils was the most regular of the 84 entered this race with a partial victory, two second places and a third, topped the final standings. Marcelo Cairo was the first in a ranking where they also mention, the sailors of the boats in Salou, as representatives of the organizing club, occupied positions ranging from second to fifth place.  The first day, given the fickle wind conditions and soft, they played the first two tests of the season. The second day, thanks to the excellent wind conditions were able to play three tests laid down in a day when the wind and the sea rose gradually until 5 pm.
