To heat engines before the
Nits Daurades, the Salou Festival, which will be from
August 2 to 15, the City Council has prepared various cultural and recreational activities until August 1, within the framework of
Salou Capital of Catalan Culture 2025. Among the activities, the International Music Festival, the Calada de les Malles, which recreates the seafaring past of Salou, and the reopening of the remodeled Torre Vella stand out.
The programme of events scheduled until 1 August 2025 is as follows:
- Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 9 p.m., in the Masia Catalana, concert by the singer of Salou Ana Tena.
- Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 10 p.m., in the Masia Catalana, percussion performance by the Atabaladors de Salou.
- Friday, July 25, 2025, at 10 p.m., Cinema Lliure cycle on the beach, on the Levante Beach (pl. Autonomous Communities). Screening of the film “Volvereis”.
- Saturday, 26 July 2025, at 8 p.m., on the Paseo Jaume I (in the Font dels Cargols), sardana dance, with the Cobla Catania.
- Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 9:00 p.m., in the Plaza de las Comunitats Autònomes, VIII International Music Festival with the performance of the Valencian Chamber Orchestra La Hispànica, with the title “Països Catalans – cultures germanes”.
- Monday, July 28, 2025, at 10 p.m., in the Masia Catalana, percussion performance by the Atabaladors de Salou.
- Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 9 p.m., at the Masia Catalana, live performance by the singer Oscar Carbonell.
- Thursday, July 31, 2025:
- at 8 p.m., in the Torre Vella, reopening of this art and culture center with the exhibition “Cuixart: Alchemy and poetics of matter” dedicated the centenary of the painter Modest Cuixart (1925-2025).
- at 9 p.m., in the courtyard of the Torre Vella, the VIII International Music Festival will offer a concert in tribute to Pau Casals with the cellist Jorge Sierra.
- at 10 p.m., percussion performance of the Atabaladors de Salou.
- Friday, August 1, 2025:
- at 11 a.m. in the Espai Infància del Carrilet, children's workshops on marine issues.
- from 7:30 p.m., on the beach of Ponent, Calada de les Malles (traditional fishing art exhibition).
- at 8:30 p.m., on the beach of Ponent (nautical base), popular Sardinada.
- on Poniente Beach (nautical base), sung by the group Xicranda habaneras.
- at 10 p.m., Cinema Lliure cycle on the beach, on the Ponent Beach (Nautical Club). Screening of the film “Salvages”.
