Salouween, or how to enjoy the best Halloween on the Costa Daurada
Salou. Costa Dorada. 21 October 2026. From October 24 to November 2, 2025 Salou is themed to offer the best Halloween celebration on the Costa Dorada: Salouween. Special commercial activity, Halloween party for the little ones and families, the parade of monsters and zombies, and could not miss the Salouween Street on Passeig Jaume I, with gastronomic offer, music and shows.
Until October 30, shops in Salou are decorated with Halloween themes and are organizing a raffle for a double ticket to PortAventura and Ferrari Land for purchases made in participating stores.
In addition, on October 23, starting at 5 p.m., at Plaça del Carrilet, children can pick up a bag to collect candies and chocolates offered by local businesses participating in the Trick-or-Treat event. On October 23 and 24, at Espai Infància Estació del Carrilet, Club Xic's turns into a mini children's haunted corridor with plenty of surprises from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This activity is free, but prior registration is required at salou.reservaplay.cat.
On October 24, at Plaça del Carrilet, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., there will be a family escape room titled "El tresor de la bruixa", while at Masia Tous, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., visitors can enjoy the escape room "L'Antídot Z" to find the antidote to a zombie virus infecting participants (activity for ages 12 and up). To join these free escape rooms, advance registration at salou.reservaplay.cat is required.
On October 27, upon prior registration at salou.reservaplay.cat, attendees over 12 can join a free horror makeup workshop, "Heridas de Halloween", learning techniques to create fake wounds, scars, burns, blood, and other scary effects. The workshop runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Masia Tous.
On October 31, starting at 5 p.m., Plaça del Carrilet hosts the Children's Salouween Party featuring a makeup marathon, music, and various activities to prepare for the monster and zombie parade starting at 7:30 p.m. Hot chocolate will be served at 6 p.m. while supplies last.
Salouween Parade Zombie March and Salouween Street
The Salouween Parade zombie march takes place on October 31, departing from Teatre Auditori de Salou at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join dressed up as a zombie or monster, following instructions from organizers for lineup assembly.
Prior to the parade, from 5:30 p.m. onwards, a makeup marathon will be open to help attendees get properly in character. To join this makeup activity, tickets must be acquired in advance at salou.reservaplay.cat starting October 26.
The Salouween Parade zombie route starts at Teatre Auditori de Salou (TAS) and continues along Via Roma, Carrer Barcelona, and Passeig Jaume I down to Salouween Street.
The highlight of Salouween is undoubtedly Salouween Street, a festive hub with food vendors, music, live shows, and entertainment—including a dedicated children’s area—spanning a large portion of Passeig Jaume I in Salou. Operating hours for Salouween Street are 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday, October 30, and 12 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1.
Salouween Street is complemented by the Salouween Street Market, located at Plaça Bonet, open Friday, October 30 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Salouween concludes at TAS at 8 p.m. on November 7 with "Impro Show horror", an improvised theater comedy show blending humor and horror. Advance tickets cost 15 euros at salou.koobin.cat, or 20 euros at the box office.

During the official presentation of the new edition of Salouween at Xalet Fort, the Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, highlighted the economic and tourism dimension of Salouween beyond its festive atmosphere. The mayor reiterated that extending the tourist season and boosting municipal activity serve as core pillars for local socio-economic development.
At the presentation, the mayor was accompanied by the Councillors for Economic Dynamization, Héctor Maiquez; Youth and Childhood, Noelia Izquierdo; and Culture, Julia Gómez, all departments responsible for coordinating the various activities of Salouween 2026.
