Nits Daurades, the biggest festival of the capital of the Costa Dorada

Salou. Costa Dorada. 28 July 2025. From August 1 to 15, 2025, Salou will enjoy the Nits Daurades, which is the name by which its big festival is known. In this edition, popular culture, live music and the municipality's maritime traditions will be prominent elements of the festive program. All events, schedules and venues are detailed below.

Programme of events

Friday, 1st August

• At 11 am, in the Children's Space of the Carrilet Station: Children's workshops on marine themes
• At 8.30 p.m., on the beach of Ponent: Calada de les Malles -rossegall.. Exhibition of traditional fishing by the Santa Maria del Mar Fishermen's Society.
• At 10 p.m., on the beach of Ponent (nautical base): Popular sardinada and habaneras sung by the group Xicranda.
• At 10 p.m., on the beach of Llevant (in front of the Autonomous Communities): Cinema on the beach with the screening of "Salvages" (family session)

Saturday, 2nd August

• At 8.30 pm, at the Municipal Tourist Board (Xalet Torremar on Passeig Jaume I): Prayer, by Miquel Sàmper Rodríguez, Minister of Business and Labour of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Then, the start of the festivities in front of the Municipal Tourism Board.
• At 10 pm, on the Paseo Jaume I, from the Font dels Cargols to the pl. of the Autonomous Communities: 6th Batrobada (scramble of batucades), with the participation of the Atabaladors de Salou and invited groups.

Sunday, August 3

• At 8.30 p.m., in the Plaza de las Comunitats Autònomes: Salou Festival Orchestra: From Mallorca with Love. Mallorca Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Bernat Quetglas, with Ngay Kalman, solo violin (concertino of the Oradea Philharmonic Orchestra - Romania)

• At 6.30 pm in the Cybernetic Fountains (Passeig Jaume I): Xic's Daurades, refreshing children's activities!
• At 8.30 pm at the Light Source: Presentation of the new dress of the Mulassa of Salou, on the occasion of its 15th anniversary. Next, parade of the Mulassa and the small village of Salou, from the Light Fountain, along the Jaume I promenade to the Tourist Board.
• At 10 p.m., in the Plaza de las Comunitats Autònomes: Meeting of Habaneras with the groups Els Cremats, Son de l’Havana, and Peix Fregit.

Thursday, August 7:

• At 8 pm, on the Jaume I promenade, from the Font dels Caragols to the monument to Jaume I: Children's fire with the participation of the Children's Devils Els Pascualets and guest groups.

Friday, August 8

• At 8:30 p.m., at the Autonomous Communities, Exhibition of festive elements of Salou.
• At 10 p.m., in the Plaza de las Comunitats Autònomes: Show by Folklore Aragonès, by Grup Folklòric Jaime and Agrupación Folklórica Aragonesa de Aragón.

Saturday, August 9

• At 8 p.m., on Passeig Jaume I – Espigó del Moll: Dance of Sardanes with the Cobla Reus Jove and the Agrupació Sardanista Tarragona Dansa.
• At 9.30 p.m., on the Jaume I Promenade, from the Tourist Board to the Light Fountain: Night of Fire with the Diables Maleïts and Bruixes Latemó, the Xaloc, the Morena de Salou and other guest groups.
• At 11 p.m., in the Plaza de las Comunitats Autònomes: Concert tribute to Hombres G, by the musical group "Voy a pasárrmelo bien".

Recommendations for the fire run:

• It is recommended that the shops and neighbors of the floors through which the correfoc passes keep the doors of the balconies and windows closed, blinds down and that you do not have extended clothes; collect awnings, and other elements that can be burned (flags, etc.) and protect marbles and glass with wood or cardboard.
• It is advisable not to invade or disturb the space where the fire groups perform their actions and respect the safety distances at all times. Always follow the instructions of the members of the fire groups and the public order services.
• People who want to actively participate in the correfoc will have to wear cotton clothing (synthetic compounds are very easily burned), long sleeve, straw hat and handkerchiefs to protect the head and face, as well as closed footwear.
• You cannot play with the remains of the pyrotechnic material.

Safe party

In addition to this intense festive program, it is worth highlighting the commitment of the City of Salou so that the Golden Nights are safe parties, and for this reason it will place a violet and multicolored point, in the Plaza de las Comunitats Autònomes - sports area, on the days:

• 12 August (from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.)
• 13 August (from 9 p.m. to midnight)
• 14 August (from 9 p.m. to midnight) and
• 15 August (from 22 to 2 h in the morning)

The violet and multicolored point has the function of informing and accompanying in case of situations of aggression and sexist and lgbtifobic discrimination, and anyone who sees or suffers directly from aggression and / or discrimination can be directed.
