Repsol, main sponsor of the Tarragona Hospitality Federation

Repsol and the Tarragona Province Federation of Hotel Business Associations (AEHT) have signed an agreement that strengthens collaboration between the two entities. According to the director of the Repsol Industrial Complex in Tarragona, Javier Sancho, the agreement highlights the necessary coexistence and collaboration between the two great engines of the Camp de Tarragona economy: tourism and the petrochemical industry.

The agreement translates, on the one hand, into financial aid for the association's own activities and especially for the promotion of the sector after the impact of COVID. On the other hand, Repsol becomes the main supplier of energy to the AEHT associates. Repsol becomes the main sponsor of the Federation and plays a prominent role in all communications and events of the entity.

The agreement was signed at the Xaloc Restaurant in Tarragona, associated with the AEHT and distinguished with a Sun from the Repsol Guide. Once this collaboration was formalized, Francesc Pintado, president of the AEHT, presented the legendary chef's jacket of the Federation to the director of the Repsol Industrial Complex in Tarragona, Javier Sancho. This jacket is a gift given to public personalities and references who show their support for the entity and which, starting today, will include the Repsol logo.

The president of the AEHT, on behalf of the entire board, thanked the signing of the agreement, which translates into greater advantages for the members and more possibilities for promoting the AEHT, of which the Association of Entrepreneurs of Hospitality in Salou, chaired by Pep Moreno, chef of the Deliranto restaurant, with 1 Michelin star.

The collaboration between Repsol and the AEHT began a few years ago with joint actions such as welcoming restaurateurs with Sol Repsol from the province of Tarragona to the AEHT Council of Experts.
