Salou. Costa Dorada. Club Náutico Salou has announced the Barcelona Boat Show, its sub-site of sailing, in case the Mediterranean Games of 2017, awarded to the city of Tarragona. The presentation of Salou sailing venue for the Games of 2017 was made at the Sea Space that the Catalan Association of Tourist and Boat Show has in there. The presentation of the sub-site was attended, among others, the presence of Gerard Esteva, president of the Catalan Sailing Federation, Godofredo Dominguez, president of the Boat of Salou, Enric Pujol, on behalf of Tarragona 2017, and Josep Seguer and  Josep Oliva, manager and head of the sailing club, respectively. Remember that last September, the committee reviews the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (CIJM) visited the facilities of the Club Náutico de Salou, to ascertain what facilities should accommodate the section of sailing, and to confirm the club, as sub-site, in case that Tarragona is designated the organizer of the Games. Salou has the support of the Catalan Sailing Federation and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation to host the competition. The Spanish Olympic Committee also supports a sub-site that is known for its excellent golf and sailing their organizational capacity.
