The VII Half Marathon, the most anticipated event of Salou on Sunday 12 December

Salou. Costa Dorada. One year the Sports Department of the City Council organized the seventh Salou Half Marathon and IV Minirace for kids where some 1,200 people have registered, a record for this race because it exceeds the number of participants the previous edition. At 10 am will be the start, the 21,097 km that pass through the most spectacular places in Salou, and crosses the coast providing a very entertaining character in the race. This year has changed its route making it more dynamic and entertaining for the participants. Thus, both the departure and arrival will be held at Paseo Jaime I. It will be a quick route as last year's winner won with a time of 1:10:23 (Amine Chaouen) As it was done in the last year, runners will have live music throughout the circuit, and a large pulp-party arrival. The swimming pool will be open to participants that they can swim and cool off after the race. I attach a map showing the route of the race. The minicursa the expected participation of 300 schools of the municipality will have different categories according to age of the participants. Beginning at 10:03 the children will start this race that unlike last year will be entirely at Paseo Jaime I The elder children can  make a journey of 700 feet while the juveniles and children made a total of 1,200 meters. There will be a 5-km race for adults will also fully Passeig Jaume I. Then the councilors of the governing them will be the delivery of medals and gifts. The delivery of the numbers will also 12.30hores Paseo Jaime I. Local Police reinforce security in Salou with a total of 35 players for this year and manage the mobility of the municipality. Sunday will be closed to traffic on Paseo Jaime I in both directions.
