Tarragona promotes the oil sector in the field of Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. One of the objectives of the Province of Tarragona is boosting the olive sector of Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre, promoting local and regional development through the upgrading of those resources related to the culture of the oil susceptible 'use. This work is developed under the collaboration agreement between the Province of Tarragona, the city of Reus and Resource Centre for the Protection of Health and Environment on the management of the Centre for the oil. The strategic lines that should govern the actions to be taken in terms of energizing the olive sector in our region are: Creating awareness towards the olive and olive oil Provide tools to support the olive sector Perform the dissemination and promotion of olive oil Presenting the plan of organization of the Center for Development of Oil These lines are intended to bring the knowledge of the olive and olive oil, its land, its landscape and its culture to the public.
