Starts in Reus the tour of the play ,An Ideal Husband, by Wilde

Reus. Costa Dorada. On February 9, will play at Teatre Fortuny de Reus updated version of the famous play by Oscar Wilde An Ideal Husband. We will offer 34 performances of this work in 29 municipalities throughout Catalonia in the framework of Culture on Tour. Josep Mestres, responsible for the direction of this new version, has chosen to adapt to this. Thus, the action is not developed in nineteenth century London, but in the XXI century. Secretary of State, Sir Robert Chiltern is the ideal husband for his wife, Lady Chiltern, a brilliant politician and a perfect gentleman. Regarding the rest of society shown both as a happy marriage. This harmony will be threatened when the malevolent and seductive Mrs. bursts. Cheveley, making blackmail Robert Chiltern threatening him with the revelation of a dark secret past who is also the origin of the family fortune and his political career.
