Photography, art and history this autumn in three exhibitions at the Port of Tarragona

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. 03 November 2013. The Port of Tarragona presents three exhibitions this fall devoted to photography, the art fund the Port of Tarragona and the 100 year history of the Tinglados 1 and 4.

The Tinglado 2 Moll de Costa, and until January 5, 2014 , hosts the exhibition 'Rafael Sanz Lobato Photographs 1960-2008 ' a retrospective of the long history of this documentary photographer has captured with his camera the character and the idiosyncrasies of the people of Spain.

Awarded the 2011 National Photography, photographic series of "Rapa das Bestas", "Bercianos de Aliste" or "Auto Sacramental de Camuñas" show arid Spain while majestic, deeply religious respects, century after century, year after year, rites marked by a Church omnipresent.

The exhibition is a magnificent example of modern Spanish realist photography that has influenced authors significantly in successive generations. The exhibition is complemented by landscapes, portraits and still lifes .

This exhibition, in the Tinglado 2 of the Moll de Costa and free entry can be seen until January 5, 2014 , Tuesday to Saturday from 10-14 h and 16-19 h , and Sundays and holidays from 11 to 14 h . Closed on Mondays .

Moreover, the Tinglado 1 Moll de Costa presents two exhibitions until next December 8, 2013 .

The exhibition ' The Art Collection of the Port of Tarragona. 25 years ' picks up 25 years of the art collection of Port of Tarragona. The fund is provided by authors are works that have been exhibited since 1988 in the tinglados of the Moll de Costa, among which a selection has been made. The exhibition consists of three areas:

• the Tinglado 2
• the estate grows
• Port of Tarragona landscapes and cityscapes

Finally, and also in the Tinglado 1 Moll de Costa, the exhibition '100 years of Tinglados ' commemorates this year, 2013, the Tinglados 1 and 4 of the Moll de Costa 100 years old. The Port Archive has coordinated this exhibition consists of photographs, maps and documents, accompanied by explanatory texts that make up the speech sample, divided into three parts:

• Moll de Costa
• the Tingaldos and
• engineers

These two exhibitions can be visited until December 8, 2013,Tuesday through Saturday from 10-13 pm and 16-19 pm and Sundays and holidays from 11 to 14 hours. Mondays are closed.
