Success of the Fourth Meeting of trumpets of Catalonia on the Costa Dorada

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. This weekend, 5 and 6 November 2011 was held at the Fourth Meeting of Tarragona in Catalonia horn player with a hit of participation by students, faculty and public. For two days, the city has received an international horn player like Juan Manuel Gomez (solo OBC), Miklos Nagy (soloist of the Orchestra of Luxembourg Philarmonique), Jose joke (RTVE Orchestra) and Richard Tood (principal Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra). The School of Music and the Provincial Government in Tarragona hosted this event, giving thus support the Catalan Association of horn player (ACAT), an organization that works to promote this important instrument, and that their enthusiasm and dedication has brought together these days instrumentalists from all over Europe and Spain. The cooperation, enthusiasm and eager to make music were the main ingredients of the Fourth Meeting of horn player. Among the activities that has wrapped the event include workshops and lectures, which involved about 140 students of all ages, or the showing of exhibitors filled the courtyard of the Conservatory of the latest models and equipment related to the tube. The closing concert of the meeting was attended, along with the Spanish Brass Luur Metals (Group recognized worldwide), the components of the 10 students in Group horn player ESMUC, the horn player of the Professional Set of spoon (the about 15 members), and two groups of students (youth and children) participating in the meeting.
