Salou, base of Spain's Karate Championship

Salou. Costa Dorada. Salou will host the next 20 and 21 March 2010 Championship Karate of Spain in absolute category for the first time, reached the capital of the Costa Dorada and in rare cases has been organized outside Madrid. This important event related to the martial arts will take place in the sports hall of the municipality and will be attended by athletes from 19 autonomous communities with over 350 competitors and over a thousand guests, according to forecasts by the organizers. Organizers stressed the importance of the tournament being staged in Salou and that is a year with World Cup (to be held in late October in Belgrade) and also celebrates the European championships in May in Athens. With this act, the municipality of Salou has sought to show their support for the Spanish Karate Federation shaping this event which falls under the heading of large-format activities that local government wants to promote outside of the tourist season.   Download the programa
