The pastry Gil-Torrents from Salou launches the biscuit of the Festival of Winter

Salou. Costa Dorada. For the third consecutive year Salou has a new gastronomic playful element. This is called 'Cookie Salou' that Gil-baked pastries from Via Roma Torrents of Salou. This workshop presented a rectangular cookie about 7x 4 inches that has the flavor of tea and a paste that is made from a butter-based but looks at the top of the promotional poster of the festival this year made with sugar ice cakes and other resources. As the owner of the establishment, Maria Gomez, is the third year that put on the market this sweet and, indeed, the window of the establishment can see the cookies from the two previous editions, and other festive items like decorated entirely based on parties, even with a television that reproduces images from previous editions of the festival. The mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, wanted to congratulate the initiative of the pastry which is by tradition and because "in this way promotes a party even more deeply rooted among the Salouenc" and has been at the bakery this morning to be with a tray of cookies Festival together with the councilors Marc Montagut and Jesus Barragan. It so happens that, apart from the cookie from the bakery this summer also trades the 'Coke of Salou,' a very soft cake containing sweet pumpkin, chocolate, muscatel raisins and other dried fruits. "We want to be a way for people to keep a sweet memory of Salou and also do not need refrigeration.
