Cambrils. Costa Dorada. The 36th International Music Festival Cambrils close on Saturday, August 14, with performances by Maria de Medeiros. The Portuguese singer and actress to take Jadins Samà Park melodies born as a result of his travels around the world. Maria de Medeiros arrives in Cambrils to present their second album Penínsulas & Continents. But the musical aspect of this artist was born in 2007 with his CD A little more blue, when he combined his career as an actress in the world of music. Since 1982, Medeiros has participated in more than a dozen shorts and a sixty films, including some of international repercussions. Among his films, we find Pulp Fiction, Henry and June; Babel; Airbag; My Life Without Me; Golden eggs, Meeting Venus, among others. He has worked and co-starred with film actors and actresses of the likes of Uma Thurman, Fred Ward, John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce Willis. More recently, she has participated as a character in the movie The Brazilian Luis Vilaça counter stories, which gave support to UNESCO; Il compleanno, Italian movie from Marco Filiberto, alongside Alessandro Gassman and Aramcheck, recites a détournement of the Belgian Sochjer Frederich, which premiered in 2010. He has been leading in the second half of the television series "Venus & Apollon for ARTE channel, and during his career, has trained more than 13 television series. On the musical side, was nominated in 2008 Artist for Peace by UNESCO and has participated in operations such as Lady, a tribute album by Joan Manuel Serrat, where he performs the famous "dwarf Cebolla" Miguel Hernandez, next the cellist Joseph Basal. Also outstanding Rendez-vous chez Nino Rota, the Neapolitan singer Mauro Gioia; and Femina, disc The Legendary musician Portuguese tigerman which also involved Cibelle, Asia Argento, Peaches, Becky Lee, Lisa Kekaula, Phoebe Killdeer. In other artistic fields, has starred in the play Sextett, written and directed by Remy De Vos Eric Vigna, which has endured more than a month to sign in Champs Elysees in Paris. And now you can see on the stage of the 36th International Music Festival of Cambrils.
