The Living Nativity of the farmhouse Castellon received 4000 visitors

Hospitalet de l'Infant. Costa Dorada. The organizers of the Living Nativity farmhouse Castellón have a very positive balance of the thirteenth edition of this traditional staging, which again give life to this village in the municipality of Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant which was uninhabited in the 50s. According to sources have told the Association of Farmhouse Castello (the entity that is organized, sponsored by the City Council and the collaboration of various organizations) received some 4,000 visitors and unlike the previous edition, the weather conditions made it possible to open their doors every day expected, ie, on December 26 and January 2 and 6. This edition also has expanded the variety of backgrounds of the visitors, the organizers have pointed out, pointing out that in addition to spending the citizens of the Baix Camp and the Ebro basin, as usual , there have been people Baix Ebre, Tarragona, Barcelona, Montsant, etc.. All visitors could see forty scenes acclimated to mid-twentieth century, an extensive display of old trades (carpenter, mattress, stick, cadiraire, baskets, mason, baker, groundbreaking hazelnuts, cooper, distiller of liquor, etc.). and a handful of animals (poultry, ducks, turkeys, geese, rabbits, etc.).. This year, as a novelty, these animals can still be seen throughout the year. This 2011 farmhouse Castellón Association plans to raise, in addition, another house, Cal Cisco el Ros. In this regard, we must remember that the main novelty of XIIIe Living Nativity has been the site of 'Cal Pep, "the last house that this organization has rebuilt the farmhouse Castellon. This house has hosted the scene of the peeler of hazelnuts and corn and the beat. Moreover, as usual, the Living Nativity has attended about 300 collaborators, of whom about 210 were performed. Most of these people are residents of the municipality, which recreate ancient crafts.
