La Part Alta of Tarragona opens 20 artists workshops in cultural activities for all

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. A total of 20 workshops and 50 artists participate in this 2009 edition of “Open Studios”, an initiative of the collective of artists from the Part Alta (old town) of Tarragona, which show the most intimate of creation: the workshop and process. The conference will take place on 4, 5, 6 and 10 September 2009, being the 10th special by being part of the programming of the Night 10 by TV3. "Open Studios" offers a varied program with activities such as photography sessions, workshops revealed, puppetry, digital painting, literature, performances, musical performances, theater, exhibitions, as well as various activities for children. All feature events organized in collaboration with the Club Tarraconins. Furthermore, in the Old Town Hall is an information point and a group exhibition of most of the participating artists, with works from various artistic disciplines, which will be open until September 12th. A novelty this year is the addition of the Godfather figure, a new initiative that proposes to sponsor internationally recognized artists with their presence the "Open Studios". This year the charge of this role is the designer and illustrator Isidro Ferrer, National Design Award (2002) and National Illustration Award (2006). Ferrer has participated in the inauguration of the “Open Studios”, held on 4th of September.
