The CEO of Civic Action and Community Department of Social Welfare and Family, Violant Cervera, open on 1 March 2012 the activities of the Casa del Mar in Cambrils. This facility has a program of civic activities including gymnastics, pilates, laughter therapy and self-esteem workshops, dancing, Argentine tango, choir, computer classes, memory, drawing and painting, Catalan, etc.. The director of regional services of Social Welfare and Family in Tarragona, Anna M. Solé, the mayor of the municipality, M. Mercé Dalmau, and the president of the Association of Pensioners Club of Casa del Mar in Cambrils, Josep M. Montull, accompany the director during a visit to the facility. The Casa del Mar in Cambrils is one of the 13 houses of the sea that manages the Department of Social Welfare and Family over the Catalan coast.
