Altafulla. Salou. Costa Dorada. 16 February 2012. His Majesty Carnival will kick off on Thursday 16 February 2012 at 20pm, the carnival of 2012 Altafulla. The arrival of His Majesty will take place in Plaza del Pozo and then begin the procession to the streets of the town and eventually to the town house where Violet held the opening speech. Once, at the same Violet, will take place, to 20:30 pm, and the Competition Tasting Tortillas. The ticket price will be € 0.50. Since the day Friday 17 February will be the turn of the Carnival Parade of children in the Nursery Francisco Blanch beginning at about 15:30 hours and will focus on route planning district Pearl, the center of town. The highlight, however, will not arrive until 18 on Saturday, when held, from the 10 pm, the Grand Carnival Parade, and the popular dance in the house by the quartet Violet Banda Sonora. The parade will be complemented by a third and final parade of costumes, ending with hot chocolate in the house the next day Violet Sunday 19 February. The parade will begin at about 17:30 pm. The Grand Carnival Parade participate a total of five groups and four floats and is expected to launch a total of 280 pounds of confetti. Responsible for putting an end to the festivities will be the burial of the sardine and the procession from the house to the old schools Violet Teresa Manero, venue of the traditional popular sardine at a price of 1, 5 € the ticket.
