Cambrils. Centro cultural. Cicle: Expatriates and victims of Franco. Closure.   Centro Cultural c/ Sant Plàcid, 18-20.   20hs   Cambrils will hold the closing of the cycle 'refugees and displaced persons: victims of the Civil War', a set of activities that have taken place in different parts of town from October 1 and whose aim to show the reality of people displaced by war. The closing ceremony will be dedicated to Cardinal Vidal y Barraquer, illustrious son of Cambrils which was the victim of exile. The series, organized by the council of Cambrils, has enjoyed the support of the Directorate General of Democratic Memory (Department of Interior, Institutional Relations and Participation). Speak at the closing ceremony of the cycle of Cambrils Mayor Robert Benaiges Cervera, director of regional services of the Department of Interior, Institutional Relations and Participation in Tarragona, Hortènsia Grau, the archbishop of Tarragona, Jaume Pujol Balcells, a representative of the family of Cardinal, Joseph M. Vidal-Barraquer, and the councilman of Culture, Heritage, Sport and Recreation of the City of Cambrils, Joan Recasens. During the seminar will present the functioning of the learning unit 'Exile Cardinal' material and work activities for the use of high schools. Also premiering the documentary Vidal i Barraquer.
