Reus: 'games our grandparents Museum toys'

The Museum of Reus (Raval Santa Anna, 59) presents the exhibition " games grandparents : toys museum", a sample of the toy collection that keeps the museum.

The exhibition is complemented by 37 photographs, will be open until next January 11.

The exhibition is divided into several areas according to the type of toys. In one area you can find those that reproduce in miniature the adult world and with which gender roles among children is also marked : you can find dolls with accessories, car tin, various dolls , toys scene ... The assembly also includes games and motion games .

Particularly interesting is a collection of tin cars to his garage in 1920, or a full theater, 1929 with all the necessary elements to represent the plays ( sets, characters , entrances and two booklets ) and a projector children's film of the 40s. Among the games features a complete set of cards in 1800 and printed in Reus.
