10am Home of the exhibition "Cultural Avilés," an exhibition that presents the first work in Spain of the prestigious Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer: Centro Cultural Niemeyer Avilés. The exhibition is composed of panels, large format photographic images and totems of the Niemeyer building with images and texts of cultural and historical heritage of Avilés. Niemeyer Center is located in the heart of Avilés, opened last March, is the result of gifts made by Oscar Niemeyer to Asturias in gratitude for being awarded the Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts in 1989.
