Salou. Costa Dorada. The City Council of Salou collaborates with the Freesia Group in celebration of the Sixth People's Race will take place on Sunday 9 May 2010. The start time of the race will be at 10 am from the Passeig Jaume I Salou.   Participants can choose between two types of career with different levels of difficulty. The first tour will be 4 km long and will be aimed at beginners and walkers under 12. The second route is 10 km and is aimed at athletes better prepared. Elaine McParland, president of the association said today that "There are currently about 500 participants pointed but hopefully exceed 1,000 participants edition of last year." Registrations can be made via the website of the association until next Friday and the starting point to the same 9.15hores Sunday. The mayor of Salou, Mr.. Pedro Granados pointed out "that the Freesia Group makes a big work in the fight against cancer" and "requested the participation of all citizens to contribute to this cause." Proceeds from registrations will be distributed among different Spanish associations that promote research and treatment of cancer.
