IGTM arrives, the most important international event in golf

Salou, La Pineda Playa. Costa Dorada. 03 November 2013. Between 11 and November 14 the Costa Dorada will host the International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) a global event dedicated to the sport of golf which provides for the participation of more than 1,500 professionals linked to this activity and tourism. Port Aventura and the complex Lumine Mediterranea Beach & Golf Community will be two of the most prominent of this event, which should be a significant boost to industry promotion golfing on the Costa Dorada.

The Costa Dorada has firmly for a few years by promoting the area as a golf destination after the first golf course on the Costa Dorada was opened in 1983. Currently on the Costa Dorada there are seven resorts where you can play golf. The last of the premises put into operation is precisely the Lumine Golf & Beach Club complex, highly praised for its features by critics.

The golf courses of the Costa Dorada are designed by leading architects and golf figures such as Greg Norman, Jose Maria Olazabal and Bernhard Langer and have the elements necessary to constitute one of the major golf destinations in southern Europe.

The International Golf Travel Market ( IGTM ) 2013 is predicted to be involved delegations from sixty countries, all of them formed by professionals from the tourism and golf, a sport that moves about 25 million practitioners and enthusiasts.
