Salou install an area for entertainment of dogs in Eduard Punset

Salou. Costa Dorada. 30 January 2018. The City Council has thought to create an area of ​​entertainment for dogs, which will be located on Dr. Edurad Punset Avenue in Salou. For this, it will invest 18,150 euros in an area of ​​1,012 square meters that will be located in the garden areas of sector 5, the Emprius area, with the area occupied by the railway. It is an area close to the parks and surrounding garden areas of the avenue.

The municipal technical services have foreseen that the new area for dogs will force to condition the land, supply water a source for the dogs, which will be visibly different from those used by people, as well as a paper basket and urban furniture. The surface will have up to four benches to sit on. The entire enclosure will be fenced to allow dogs to run freely within the area designated for them. The Municipal Brigade will also install a series of games intended for animals, such as ramps and slaloms.

It will also incorporate a signage with prohibitions and safety instructions and the proposed route. Note, for example, the prohibition of access to young children, sick or aggressive dogs and bitches "in heat", and the prohibition of animal abuse; as well as exclusive access to dogs controlled by their owners, identified and vaccinated.

The winning company has been EDIF. AND REP. TARRACO, with a final budget of € 18,150.00 (VAT included). The works have a term of execution of 8 weeks, and are expected to conclude at the end of February.
