JONC goes back to star in two concerts at the TAS

Salou. Costa Dorada. 17 December 2013.
Christmas activities continue after the fifth Salou Christmas Fair and Christmas concerts have been held in recent days. And since lit of lights the city lives in an ambience to which go contributing the various proposals that are added to the calendar. The first is the exposure of Catalan birds and autochthonous animals opened on Monday 16 December in Masia Catalana, which will be open until January 6 (weekdays from 17 to 21 Sundays and public holidays from 10.30 to 13.30 and 17 to 21).

Indeed Masia Catalana is alongside the Auditorium Theatre of Salou (TAS) one of the sites that will host some of the biggest events of the Christmas program in the city. These highlight the representation of the Living Nativity, that Grup Esplai will act on December 21st and 25th and January 1st. This building located at Carlos Buïgas Avenue also hosts the December 20, at 8 pm, the Mayor's Christmas card and Christmas typical tasting broth and the Cagatió and children chocolate to be held on December 25th, Christmas Day, at 11.30 am.

Events at Teatre Auditori

On TAS stage there will take place on Wednesday 18, at 6 pm (free admission) a Christmas concert by children from the Salou School of Music (4, 5 and 6 years old), plus the string Orchestra, percussion Group, the children, middle age and Duorum choirs, and the Municipal Band. In addition, the same Teatre Auditori will host two concerts by Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya-JONC (National Youth Orchestra of Catalonia): first, on December 30 at 8 am and the other in charge of juveniles of this group on Thursday January 2nd at 8 pm (free admission).

The TAS will also be the building in front of which will be delivering gifts on arrival of Their Majesties the Three Kings on January 5th. The parade will take the following route, starting at 7.30 pm: Espigó del Moll, Barcelona Street, Via Augusta, Ciutat de Reus Street, Via Roma, Advocat Gallego Street and arrival at City Hall. But, as in previous years, Salou also will float Santa Claus parade, on Christmas Eve, which will be at 5.30 pm with the following route: Advocat Gallego Street, Barcelona Street to Bonet Place, Barcelona Street, Francolí Street, Plaça de la Pau and arrival at Municipal Sports Pavilion located in Advocat Gallego Street, which will be the delivery of gifts.
