Salou. Costa Dorada. The Department of Culture and Festivals of the City of Salou, with the collaboration of the Association Sardanista Counterpoint wave, the Damn Ball Devils Salou, Salou Recreational Group, the Giants of Salou,  has organized a series of events for the night of June 23, eve of St. John. Among the events, the highlight is the arrival of the Canigó il'encesa the pyre that will take place at 9pm. Then at 10 pm, there will be a parade with the Canigó will be accompanied at all times for the performance of Damn Devils, Witches Latemor, the Sirocco and Morena Salou. At 10.30pm there shall be reading the message of St. John fire and subsequent lighting of the bonfire with fireworks display. For the young, has organized the "San Juan Beach Party" on the Poniente beach, where the 23 hours from the youngest to enjoy a night full of music and spectacle. At the same time, the 23 h, the square of the Autonomous Communities, the orchestra "The Fania" amenitzarà great folk dance. The Councillor for Culture and Festivals, Isabel Aguilera, explained that "it is a party with a long tradition in Catalonia and hopefully go all salouencs the street and enjoy the festival and the events they have organized thinking about them. To avoid surprises and that everyone can enjoy the festival without incident, the city of Salou, in conjunction with the Department of Civil Protection and DGPC of the Government, have launched a campaign again, 'Verbenas with Caution', with the aimed at informing the public of the risks involving the use of fireworks, especially the night of June 23, eve of St. John. The aim of the campaign Verbenas with caution "not restrict the use of fireworks and the celebration of festivals, but minimizing risks.   The risks that this campaign aims to address two: accidents caused by improper handling of pyrotechnic products and the potential increase risk of vegetation fires for the lighting of bonfires, and also for the ignition can cause fireworks.
