Altafulla. Costa Dorada. The Craft Fair of Altafulla, organized by the Collective of Artisans in collaboration with the City of Altafulla, arriving as usual at this time every year around this town onThursday 18 August and will run until Sunday 21 August 2011, from 7pm to midnight. For four days, visitors can enjoy a total of 133 craft stalls and attractions ranging from the food industry to the sectors of fashion and accessories. Specifically, there will be a total of 88 stalls of artisans foreigners, 17 Altafulla, 21 stops for wine is part of the sample organic food and wines and 7 ancient crafts such as blacksmith, the flour, the spinner, jewelers, the weaver, the cabassaires Pinell de Brai, for the first time, a cooper. The main novelty of this fourteenth edition, the premiere and Organic Food and Wine Show, which will feature mainly wines with DO Catalonia, all-natural and organic products in order to promote this new food culture. Meet a total of 21 stalls, besides wine, there will be organic vegetables and fruits, natural oils and homemade meals. This initial sample of wines and organic food, although part Craft Fair aims at medium or long term, to set up as autonomous fair for a weekend. Apart from the craft stalls, Craft Fair will host as usual various attractions for children. It is expected that it installs a merry-ecological attraction, and also have different routes with ponies, horses and donkeys. Interestingly, the show this year will host a farm animal. The Craft Fair will kick off on Thursday 18 August at 19h in the area in the presence of the Mayor of Altafulla, Felix Alonso, and various municipal representatives.
