New tourist signs of the coves and beaches of Salou

Costa Dorada. 23 August 2013. The coves and beaches of Salou look new vertical signs with information on all the services they offer. The new totems informative also incorporate QR codes that link to the Tourist Board website to learn more about the capital of the Costa Dorada. Also include a map of the municipality showing the location of the cove and the beach, so that the user has a more accurate view of the point where you are in the whole of the coast and the town of Salou.

The new signage has been placed in Cala Crancs, Cala Vinya, Cala Font, Playa Larga, and Cala Llenguadets, and will soon also Capellans beach, beach Platja de Ponent and Llevant. Improved signage will also be extended to other areas of Salou: from Pilons to Playa Larga, the way round, or Casalot-Llatzeret walls, which are declared  Site of National Interest.

Other attractions of Salou which signaled the remains of gun emplacements of the Punta del Po-Roig, or the fishing boats that remain of the old fishing pier.

The Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, and the Councillor for Beaches, Julia Gomez, have highlighted the efforts of continuous quality improvement of the beaches that makes the capital of the Costa Dorada, recognized by various agencies, and the beaches are the main reason Salou tourist attraction.

These activities are funded by the Pla fomit 2013 (Fund for modernization of tourism infrastructure) of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism.
