Salou is preparing to host the 49th edition of Rally RACC Catalunya - Costa Dorada

Salou remains the core  of the 49th edition of the RACC Catalunya Costa Dorada , held from 24 to 27 October. The host city for the fourth time holds the initial test score ( Qualifying Stage) and the trophy podium . It will also , for the second year running, have the street circuit with a special test in the Jaume I promenade , which will become an important focus for any fan . The first qualification test on asphalt will take place in the area Emprius on Thursday 24 , after 1pm, and transit will be closed on Jaume I from 8-11 am. The other test , the urban timed run along the walk will be held from 17 am on Saturday, 26 , even so, be sure to arrive early enough as traffic will be banned at the Passeig Jaume I from the 16th at 9pm.

The mayor, Pere Granados , said : "Salou , with the Rally , has a new element to overcome the challenge of seasonal tourists and open new opportunities for energizing and revitalizing the economic and business sector in the area.
