Salou.Costa Dorada.The RACC Motor Sport, the sports division of the Royal Automobile Club of Catalunya, is nearing. The 45th edition of the RallyRACC Catalunya-COSTA DAURADA, Spain Rally, takes place between October 1st and 4th of 2009 and will be the 11th and penultimate Test Championship FIA World Rally Championship, in addition to the 8th and final championship of the Junior-WRC. The RallyRACC scheme will have a career equal of the last year, timed with the same sections and areas of assistance, although in 2009 the basis of race, the press and the various administrative departments will have another location, a few meters above, since the debut of the new RallyRACC 'PortAventura Convention Center’, a large, modern and flexible facility that will accommodate the different areas of the race. Entries for this manga Spanish WRC will open on July 6th and closed on August 25th. However, not all pilots priority to register for the test between July 6th and 22th will be eligible for a substantial discount, as the case for participants with Spanish license. 18 Sections and 353,6 kms speed While the tour does not provide the RallyRACC 2009 changes noted in respect of a year ago, it is important to take into account the difficulty to provide a fast track and good ground on which it is shown that any small setback could prove decisive. After the Shakedown on Friday morning, October 1st (the same as in 2008, among Riudecanyes and Vilanova d'Escornalbou), the race will begin an official ceremony with the now classic output, at 20 pm that same day on the podium at the seafront of Salou. With daily departures and arrivals from PortAventura Park Assistance, the first day of the race will start at 8 hours to finish some 10 hours later after having traveled sections 6 (3 double-pass) with a total of 131.76 kms. The second day, Saturday October 3rd and again between 8 and 18 hours, will vie for another 6 sections (3 double-pass), plus 128 km timed. Finally, on Sunday 4th is held on the last day which will last two to 3 sections with a total of 93.8 miles against the clock. The day starts at 7.15 pm at PortAventura in Salou and end from 15.07 h with the final podium of winners.
