Salou will be one of the best places in Catalonia to witness the total solar eclipse on 12 August. The eclipse will begin at 8:30 p.m., with the totality phase lasting approximately 1 minute and 8 seconds.
To mark this astronomical event, Salou Town Council and the Salou Municipal Tourist Board have organised a wide-ranging programme of educational and leisure activities for all ages in the days leading up to the eclipse.
