France discovers the entire offer of the Costa Dorada

French travel agents have experienced the Costa Dorada Life

For 3 days, from September 18 to 20, 2019, 80 travel agents and journalists from France have discovered the Costa Dorada from a new perspective, more innovative and full of experiences of all kinds in leisure, culture and gastronomy activities. This novel famtrip, baptized as Costa Dorada Life, has been an initiative of the Business Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of the province of Tarragona and the tourism associations of the Diputación, Salou, Cambrils and Vila-seca, and is framed in the tourism promotion plan of the Costa Dorada.

In addition to participating in a networking with more than 30 tourism companies in the hotel, camping, apartments, nautical and leisure sectors, French travel agents and journalists have visited Ferrari Land, Siurana, Poblet, Tárraco Romana, Reus Modernista, Cambrils , the castle of Vila-seca and Salou, where they have enjoyed the spectacle of water games from cyber fountains and a correfoc. French guests have also discovered the Costa Dorada from the sea and have visited the Sangulí campsite, awarded two consecutive years as the best campsite in Europe, as well as other establishments in the area.

According to Eduard Farriol, president of the Federació Empresarial d'Hostaleria y Turisme of the province of Tarragona, "for the Costa Dorada, the French is the most important foreign market. The Business Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Tarragona (FEHT), brings together the business sector of accommodation and catering in the province of Tarragona. Its objective The main objective is to meet the needs of professionals and companies in these sectors, as well as to promote the wide and varied offer of existing accommodation in this area. This commercial action is executed in an exemplary synergy between the business sector and the public sector, more specifically with the Tourist Board of the Diputación de Tarragona Costa Dorada and the tourism boards of Salou, Cambrils and Vila-seca, and represents a collaboration Unique in Catalonia.
