Costumes of all kinds (of red hoods, of scientists, of chess, of cowboys, of Tyroleans, and a long etcetera) have been the protagonists chosen by the groups, who have danced and have made
battles of confetti between them and with the public to the sound of the musical successes of today and always, such as the song “
Todos los días sale el Sol, Chipirón”, which is almost an anthem of the White Body.
This year, in addition, the street theater group of C Caddiz El Carromato has animated the Cos Blanc with
giant puppets full of color and rhythm.
This year the
Festival has released speakers of the show with the people of Tarragona Laura Jarque and Roberto Vara, replacing the mythical Juanma Hidalgo, who has retired. With a different style they have cleverly solved the blackout of light and sound that has occurred, explaining that it has been “a minute of silence for all the people who have not come to the Cos Blanc”.
In the morning, the groups had participated in the show, already showing the desire to party, the decoration of the carretels and the elaboration of the costumes.
The
mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, thanked once again for the involvement of the groups and the work of the security forces and all the people who work so that the
Cos Blanc is a great party for everyone, and is a safe and inclusive party.
Granados also recalled that the
Cos Blanc is the most outstanding and emblematic act of the Winter Festival of Salou, and that for this reason it is an activity that projects Salou and helps to deseasonalize the tourist season.
