Commercial establishments may open on 10 January, one of eight holidays granted to Commerce in 2010. Prior to the commencement of the statutory period of sales, the Commerce Department, in coordination with the territorial services of the Department of Innovation, Universities Company, 2676 has conducted inspections in different business sectors, especially in establishments dedicated to personal care and household household. Commerce said that the sales are optional for establishments and in the case of executed, must comply with the legally established period. Over 5,000 inspections throughout DG Trade is prepared to undertake, in coordination with the Regional Services Department in Barcelona, Central Catalan, Girona, Lleida, Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre, monitor at malls and commercial lines of district capitals and most significant companies in the sectors of personal care and household effects.
