Reform of the pedestrian crossing of Cala Vinya

Salou. Costa Dorada. 25 July 2017. The Local Government Board of Salou has approved the project of settlement of the public passage of pedestrians located between the streets Punta del Cavall and Cala Vinya.

This measure seeks to reform the environment of this area and also the accessibility of citizens and visitors who frequent this area. The improvement works consist of a new paving, stairs and an integrated step in the territory that will give a new space to the city and to contemplate the views that this area offers.

The new paving of the steps will be done in concrete with a surface treatment based on acid washing. Alongside the paving, the new sections of stairs will also be formed located in the inferior part along with a middle section of land, to shorten the current section. In addition, a wooden bridge will be placed on the upper stairs to save the existing ravine and give way to the adapted road that will allow public access to the Cala Vinya more comfortably through the forest.

The budget that Salou will allocate for the contracting of these works is 98,610.67 euros. It is expected that the term of the arrangements will be made in 6 months after the issue of the Retraining Act.
