The pioneers of the Costa Dorada, protagonists of Terra de turisme



Reus. Costa Dorada. 25 November 2014. Canal Reus TV has presented the television series 'Terra Turisme.Pioners of the Costa Daurada', a documentary work which will premiere on December 1, 2014 and through 10 chapters of 20 minutes duration aims to discover the first protagonists of an economic and social sector that has been instrumental in the transformation of the territory now forms the Costa Dorada.

Terra Turisme.Pioners of the Costa Daurada presented in the first chapter of the first summer, the upper classes who moved to the spa Vallfogona de Riucorb to take the waters, an activity that contributed to the formation of waiters, cooks, buttons and other trades in a municipality interior, focused mainly on agriculture.

The restoration, the birth of the first camp, the first impeller associations Costa Dorada as a tourist destination or early training academies in the field of tourism are other aspects covered in the early chapters of the series, which has the sponsorship of Tarragona.

Among the protagonists of the series there are some characters that over the years achieved international recognition and prestige, as is the case of Joan Pedrell, the missing restaurant Can Gatell, Cambrils, or other characters that were instrumental in consolidating tour of the Costa Dorada as Lluís Dalmau, driver of the tourist community of the Costa Dorada, Xavier Blasi, Camping Sangulí or Anton Nolla, camping la Llosa, among many others.

The series, directed by journalist Cristina González, was presented by the director of Canal Reus, Patricia Fernández and the president of the council, Josep Poblet, among other issues, have highlighted the importance of tourism in the transformation of the territory not only from an economic point of view, but, and mainly from the social point of view and relationship between the host society and societies and sending countries.
