The Nits Daurades de Salou 2018 will feature performances by Macaco and the Consortium as main courses

The Nits Daurades de Salou begin on August 9



Salou. Costa Dorada. 27 July 2018. Macaco and the Consortium will be the main protagonists of the Nits Daurades de Salou 2018, which will begin on August 9. The proclamation of the festivities, by Fernando de Yarza López-Madrazo, will be the starting shot of the activities. De Yarza is president of Henneo-Heraldo de Aragón and president of the European Publishers Association News Media Europe.

Performances such as the International Festival of Music Costa Dorada-Salou, the flamenco show "Fuego", the Aragonese folklore show, or the Salou Art Festival can be enjoyed during these days along with the cultural elements of the traditional procession, the Nit del Foc and the great castle of fires

Next Sunday, August 5, one more year, the Summer Festival of Salou arrives with a program designed both for Salouenses / as, for the thousands of tourists who are in Salou during the summer. The Councilor for Culture and Festivals, Mª José Rodríguez, explained that "under this idea the Nits program tries to respond to all ages, nationalities, cultures and artistic interests, offering music, dance, magic, tradition, culture, sport ... "

The Nits Daurades bet this year for Macaco concerts, and the Consortium, among many other acts such as fireworks, music, culture and tradition, and children's activities; all of them articulate a program with more than 15 events.

The mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, stressed that "it is a party that we share with many visitors during these dates, and it is a good way to show the hospitality of the people of Salou, as well as a sample of our culture and traditions." Granados wanted to thank the participation of both entities and the various associations of the municipality involved in the realization of this party.

The start of the race will take place at the Xalet Torremar, Passeig Jaume I, on August 9th, with the opening of the festivities by Mr. Fernando de Yarza López-Madrazo, president of Henneo-Heraldo de Aragón and president of the European Association of Editors News Media Europe. Then a great thunder will mark the beginning of the holidays.

The strong dishes of these Golden Nights will be the concerts of Macaco and the Consortium. The performances will take place in the Plaza de las Comunidades Autónomas, on Paseo Jaume I. The popular training of Bilbao will be performed on Sunday, August 12th, in the Plaza de las Comunidades Autónomas, where they will play a selection of their best 50 hits such as "Eres you "," Since you have gone "or" Frenzy "," Love of man "," chaca cha del tren ", among many others. On August 14th will take place the concert of Macaco, a mix of rumba, reggae, and funk with electron touches of Hispano-American and rumba music. You can also enjoy the second meeting of batucades (Friday, August 10); the flamenco show "fire" with the performance of the company of Mónica Novillo (Thursday, August 9); a meeting of Havaneres with the groups Xicranda, L'Empordanet, and Port Bo (Wednesday, August 8); the Salou Art Festival (Saturday, August 11); the great sardana dance (Sunday, August 12), as well as a sample of the Aragonese Folklore (Friday, August 10).

Magic comes to Salou by the hand of the magician and illustrator Jeff Toussaint, known for his appearance on the Antena3 program "1,2,3, hypnotize", or in the program of El Hormiguero. Toussaint has a great international career of more than 27 years acting for public of different nationalities both in Spain and abroad. Magic will fill the Plaza de las Comunidades Autónomas on August 13 at 10 pm, where magical moments full of illusions and many surprises will be revived.

The youngest children will be able to enjoy the children's activities in the Xalets de Salou urbanization, where they will be able to enjoy an afternoon of water and fun on Friday 10th of August. On Sunday, August 12th, the night of the fire will take place, with the correfoc that will come out of the light source and will travel the entire Jaume I walk to the cybernetic sources. The festive elements of the municipality will emerge from the Plaza de las Comunidades Autónomas until the Espigó del Moll on Tuesday 14th of August from 8pm.
