El Camino de Ronda, fully marked, another way to meet Salou

Salou. Costa Dorada. 31 July 2015. El Camino de Ronda of Salou with more than 40 signs or signaling equipment installed milestones along its route, is an interesting option to discover much of the coastline and to know salouense Salou from another perspective, in contact with nature and following the rockers and the most unknown, always in contact with the sea areas.

During the summer of 2015, the City of Salou has completed work on adaptation of several sections of the road, the installation of the labeling of the Camino de Ronda and the adequacy of the new paths along the Cap Salou. The trails cross the coast of Salou, capital of the Costa Dorada, and new signage is to raise awareness of wildlife, native vegetation, geology and landscape of the place, making available to the visitor the discovery of a sparsely known to most tourists who spend their holidays in Salou.
Visitors can go from Pilons to the door of the lighthouse at Cap Salou, to the beach Capellans, Cala Llenguadets, Playa Larga, Cala Penya Tallada, Cala Font, Cala Vinya, Punta del Cavall and Cala Crancs, until the Mollet del Far .
In total there are more than 40 signs or signaling equipment installed milestones along the way round mounted on lecterns. The signs are indicating the spaces and features along the coast and the time remaining kilometers walk and travel.

Work signaling and adequacy of the trails has been in charge of the municipal brigade and Onada Hoc Working Centre.
In parallel signaling Camino de Ronda, municipal technicians are working on the preparation of seven tourist routes that will tour around the town and serve to explain the history of Salou. It is expected that 110 stands with information points installed proprietary interest from the archaeological remains of the Cella or Barenys to the buildings of the twentieth century, through all natural, tourism, architectural and cultural heritage that forms Salou.
