The II Salou´s Tapas Rally gathers some thirty establishments

Some thirty institutions have launched the second  Salou´s Tapas Rally, an initiative of the Department of Economic Development and Trade of the City of Salou and the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs with the colabpration of the Hotel Association of Salou -Cambrils -La Pineda that want to promote the wide range of cuisine of the municipality .

Salou´s Tapas  Rally will be held from Thursday through Sunday , from 17 October to 3 November, at several restaurants, bars and ice cream parlors offering a representative tasting accompanied by a drink for 2.50 euros. Salou´s Tapas Rally offers Salou residents but also all those neighboring towns an interesting gastronomic quality seal from the gastronomu sector at the municipality.

"For the second consecutive year, this tapas circuit coincides with the passage of the Rally RACC Catalunya - Costa Daurada through the town taking advantage of the exchanges that may arise between the two events ," said the Councillor for Economic , Reyes Pino.

Tastings for only 2.5 euros
For only 2.5 euros participants get tapas and drinks included. As in other cases , clients performed the route and if they complete the tasting of at least 5 different covers with the corresponding seals , they may participate in the final draw by depositing their data into the polls distributed by various establishments . The draw is scheduled to take place before the jury in the City of Salou .

After the gastronomic route , there will be a ranking of the best tasting to be released with the corresponding recognition to those  restaurateur who have offered them. The third, second and first prize will be awarded at a ceremony at the consistory . Everyone who wants to, can vote who you think offered the best tapas and deposit the corresponding sealing newsletter into the polls.

Also a route for children
The City Council and the technical direction of the event have also launched the Mini Rally , a parallel route  for children in participating establishments which also have the option of offering a tasting adapted to the palates of the younger members of the house.

In Salou´s Tapas Rally brochure are available the places which are offering tailored tapas to children. This tapas will be served with a drink non-alcoholic for 2.50 € .

A route committed to the environment
On this occasion , the gastronomic route does not want to keep solidarity aside. Thus, participating stores will have a few tins where visitors can make donations they deem appropriate , aimed at supporting those individuals and entities.
