Salou. Costa Dorada. Salou The Albatros restaurant hosted on March 4th, 2010the regular dinner Gourmets Association of Tarragona. For the occasion, the Albatros Salou restaurant diners offered one of its most prominent specialties: baked pork at Burgos style. Note that the Albatross restaurant offers this culinary specialty in Salou until next April 2010 in the framework of the Days of Pork. In this sense, the Albatros restaurant has organized this year the XVII Pork Days. Fernando Lopez, owner of Restaurant Albatros and chef Salou is of Castilian origin and as such, knows perfectly the secrets of cooking the pork. Specifically from Burgos Restaurant Albatros reaches the raw material. The end result, after the process of preparation, processing and baking is more than satisfactory. The star dish of the Restaurant Albatros is preceded by an appetizer and ends, with a dessert, chocolates with a symphony of three textures. This time, dinner is accompanied by white wine Chardonnay 2008 Trias Batlle and a red wine Wine Parata Samsó 2006. The wines were presented by Josep Andreu Tutusaus and Batlle Tastavins Academy of Vilafranca del Penedès. The event also featured a speech as guest of honor, Joan Ramon Martorell, consul Vinorum Tarraconensium Concilium, an agency that promotes understanding and promoting wines from Tarragona.
