Vila-seca. Costa Dorada. The Municipal Tourism Vilaseca will be from Wednesday 10th until Sunday 14th March at the ITB tourism fair in Berlin, where Vilaseca participates in the corner of the Provincial Tourist Board. This year however, for the first time, others visitors who will attend the fair will be the Mayor of Vila-Seca and President of the Diputación de Tarragona, Josep Poblet and president of Tourism Council of Vila-seca, Xavier Graset. During the fair the President of the Provincial Josep Poblet, accompanied the president and technical promotion of Tourism in Vila-Seca, are scheduled to meet with several German tour operators such as ITS, one of the most important of Germany. These visits primarily serve to encourage the sale of the costa Dorada´s destination .. The fair ITB Berlin takes place within the 26 halls of Messe Berlin, a total of 160.000m2 that make it one of the largest fairs in the sector. In addition, each year has increased the numbers of participants. The year 2009 had a total of 11,098 exhibitors from 187 countries and received 179,000 visitors, 110,857 were professionals (42% outside Germany) and the rest during the weekend when the fair is open to general public.
