Torroja, in Priorat, held on the 2nd Saturday Night of Wine

Torroja del Priorat. Costa Dorada. The municipality of Torroja del Priorat held this Saturday, August 22, 2009, the second night of Wine, a proposal has the support of the DOQ Priorat and that from the nine p.m. live the most popular activities. This year's meeting want to emphasize the characteristics of the wines that are to produce in this town and in this sense, the bet of the Municipality of Torroja and local producers follows the philosophy initiated by the Consell Regulador of the Denomination of Origin Priorat qualified with their project "Vins de Vila," that will allow producers to indicate on the label of the town from its grapes. In the Priorat appellation of origin have been recently created twelve subareas belonging to different municipalities that do not necessarily coincide with administrative boundaries of the various populations, with the intention of strengthening the bonds of wine with their area of origin.
