Beaches and ports in the Costa Dorada and the Ebro look 46 Blue Flags this summer



Beaches and ports in the Costa Dorada and Terres de l'Ebre look 46 blue flags this summer, with the demarcation of Catalonia with more recognition. Specifically, you can see the flags on 38 beaches and 7 ports. Over last year, there is a minimal decline, having lost two beaches but it has won a port. In addition, the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC) recognizes a special award to Tarragona for the quality of its environmental education and information. As for the beaches of Tarragona have recognized la Mora, L'Arrabassada and Savinosa in Tarragona, the Levante beach in Salou (Tarragonès), two of Roda de Barà (Tarragonès) on the beach of the same name and Costa Dorada; Beach Creixell (Tarragonès), the Paella Torredembarra and the Maritime Quarter (Tarragonès), the Altafulla (Tarragonès), and La Pineda in Vila-seca (Tarragonès). In the Baix Penedès, have recognized the beaches Cunit, three in Calafell: Segur de Calafell, l'Estany-Mas Mel and Calafell, and three more in Vendrell: Sant Salvador, Coma-ruga, and Francàs. Also look blue flags this summer the beaches of Prat d'en Forés, Vilafortuny, Cap de Sant Pere, and Cavert in Cambrils (Baix Camp), the Crystal, Pixerota, Viennese-Cala beach in the Penyals Montroig-Camp (Baix Camp) and Punta del Rio, El Arenal, and Torn in Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant (Baix Camp). In the Terres de l'Ebre, the municipality that is more blue flags accumulate is l'Ametlla de Mar (Baix Ebre: Sant Jordi d'Alfama, Cala Forn, Pixavaques, Alguer and Calafató. L'Ampolla (Baix Ebre) also contains two flags to the beaches of Cap Roig, and les Avbellanes. Also Sant Carles de La Ràpita (Montsià) takes two awards for beaches and Garbí Parc de las Delicias. Also, look blue flag beach Riumar in Deltebre (Baix Ebre), and Marjal in Les Cases d'Alcanar (Montsià). In the Terres de l'Ebre, look like the blue flag of the Yacht Club Port de l'Ametlla de Mar and L'Ampolla. The Blue Flag award is an eco-label selectively granted more than 3300 beaches and ports in 36 countries in Europe, Morocco, South Africa, Canada, New Zealand and the Caribbean. It is based on compliance with a set of specific criteria in the award-winning beaches and ports, which are grouped around four pillars: a) the quality of bathing water, b) information and education, c) environmental management, and d)security services. The Blue Flag is awarded annually in order to ensure continued compliance with its criteria.
