Vilaseca celebrates the bicentennial of the French War

Vila-seca. Costa Dorada. The Mayor of Vila-Seca Josep Poblet, accompanied by the councilman of Culture, Joseph Toquero and president of the group of Common trabucaires Vilaseca, Louis Maud, presented yesterday at a press conference the commemoration of the Bicentennial French War, which will be held from 28 May to 5 June. The program has a variety of events, the first of which will be the opening of the exhibition 'The world Trabucaire' on 28 May 2011 at 18pm in the multipurpose room of the City of Vila-seca. Then at 18.30 Esbart Dance Ramon Olzina of plays at the church square to commemorate its 35 years. The events continue on 30 at 20pm with the presentation of research n. Section 7 of the Association of Arts Cultural Vila-Seca and on 2 June with the conference on the role of women during the French War. Saturday June 4th will be one of the most representative day of this celebration with the inauguration of the 'Fair Trade Vilaseca the former 1811', organized by the Fair Traders and Businessmen in the town. In the gardens of the castle will be able to make children's workshops and traditional games for children, visited a camp trabucaires and French and enjoy a snack. Beginning at 8 pm will be held a parade through the streets of the fair, a historical representation of the Battle of Vila-Seca during the French War, a popular dinner and dancing in time with the presentation of the eighteenth century dances . On June 5 there will be the main events to celebrate the dawn to the camp by grallers Vila-Seca at 8 am, Fair Trade and the former National Meeting of the XXIX trabucaires. Lluis Maudes, the chairman of the Joint trabucaires, explained that "the world Trabucaire be a very important day because almost all groups of Catalonia collected in Vila-seca, which reach more than 400 trabucaires. Meanwhile, the Mayor of Vila-Seca and the Councillor of Culture, emphasized the good relationship with the council the municipal entities that, through them, have been organizing all the events with very good participation everyone, and recalled the historic role that Vilaseca had a very special time of the French War.
