Reus. Costa Dorada. 15th June 2012. The Councillor of Tourism of the City of Reus, Alicia Alegret, representing the Municipal Tourism and Trade of the city, and the Chairman of the Board of County Tourism Baix Camp - Mountains on the Costa Dorada, Anton Marca, signed this June 15 an agreement between both entities in order to collaborate in promoting their respective tourist attractions. In 2008 he created the brand "Mountains of the Costa Dorada", a brand that wants to be a tool to boost tourism in the municipalities within the Baix Camp. This agreement is part of the new era that begins the County Tourism Board of Baix Camp, in order to perform different actions in collaboration with other municipalities to promote the main tourist attractions. For the Municipal Tourism and Commerce of Reus the signing of this agreement is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with the region and strengthen its role in natural gateway to the mountains of the Gold Coast, one of major tourist attractions within the region. With this agreement, both boards agree to carry out its exchange of information, in order to provide better service to visitors. As explained by the Councillor of Tourism of Salou, Alicia Alegret, "Reus Tourist Office, located in the Gaudí Centre, will have information of the main attractions of the region of the Costa Dorada. For its part, the Regional Council of Reus distribute promotional material to the main office of the county and interpretation centers in Prades, Pratdip, Arbolí and Riudecanyes. " Moreover, the two boards will promote the tourism brand of the other on their respective websites. For his part, Anton Marca stressed the willingness of cooperation of Tourism and Commerce of Reus and complementary brand that brings mountains of the Costa Dorada tourism products to other statements of the county.
