Salou receives the 52 best pictures of the IV contest Instants of Nature

Salou. Costa Dorada. The fourth edition of the exhibition Moments Nature comes to the Botanical Park in Salou from 1 to June 28. The exhibition is organized are shared by the City of Salou, Obra Social Caixa Sabadell il'ADENC (Association for Defense Work and study of Nature). The exhibition brings together the 52 best photographs submitted to the fourth edition of the competition Instants of Nature, jointly organized by the Institution financerosocial and naturalist. The subjects of the images chosen is threatened or protected nature, fauna, flora and inanimate nature. The show can be seen from Monday to Sunday from 7pm to 10pm. Other ways of looking at nature The contest to Instants Nature created seven years ago to encourage other ways of observing the environment by joining the artistic sense of photography with its ability to report the assault to the landscape. This year there were 1,114 people submitted 399 pictures, almost double the previous issue, a high turnout shows that the interest in nature photography. The jury has made Merche Alarcon, editor of National Geographic Travel, photographer Andrew Massagué for the Welfare Caixa Sabadell Albert Masso, photographer; Meritxell Monteys on behalf of the ADENC and Toni Serra PhD in biology. Of all the photographs presented, he choose the winners and they deserved a special mention. All these are part of this exhibition, which, in roaming, traveling for two years in Catalonia. Awards scattered around Catalonia In this year have been awarded the following photos: • Award for Best Cinematography: Inside the fog, Marc Munilla Bernardich (Manlleu) • Award for best nature photography threatened, protected nature: End of the couple, Xavier Munilla Bernardich (Sils) • Prize for the best wildlife photography: Balancing giants, Anton Ferdinand Aguilar (Spain) • Award for Best Cinematography Plants: spigot, Josep Maria horn wound and Capdevila (Sentmenat)
