Salou is promoted at the Irish Travel Trade Awards in Dublin

The Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados attended this weekend to 'Irish Travel Trade Awards for Dublin event where prizes are awarded to agents and tourism professionals most important market for Irish. The Salou was invited to participate in this gala held at The Burlington Hotel, where they met about 350 people representing areas leading Irish and international tourism. " Irish travel agents were responsible voting among the top 25 suppliers for its major tourist market. The Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, attended the gala muncipi representing and promoting the value of Salou worldwide. Salou is positioned as the top destination in Catalonia Irish market and one of the main destinations throughout Spain. To Salou, Ireland is an important market because it is the fourth from abroad after Russia, UK and France in 2012, according to data from the Observatory from January to November. Granados said that "participating in this show is very positive because it is a way to continue to promote the value and quality of our destiny," adding that "we want to work in a market even though it is already very loyal, has a high degree of satisfaction and trust, but we can offer you much more. " The Irish turoperaciĆ³ sector has praised the expertise of Salou as a destination for family tourism, given that Ireland is a market with a very strong family profile. The use of Irish tourism during January to October 2012 represented 3% of total foreign visitors to Salou occupying the 4th position among markets.
