The RallyRACC released a new symbolism of security in public areas

The RallyRACC released a new symbolism of security in public areas

Salou. Rally Cataluña Costa Dorada. Rally de España 2009. As a new contribution to the complex organizational problems RACC of all stages of the FIA World Rally, in 45-COSTA DAURADA RACC Catalunya Rally in Spain (1 to 4 October), will debut a new system of symbols and interpretation at the level of security in public areas of the timed events that follows a change in philosophy for the complicity of the spectator but also cares for the environmental and visual impact of the security areas. This new philosophy used in this project will be extremely simple. In areas classified as public, it may be in any area without signaling, or behind the yellow and black fences when it delimits the area. In doing this it aims to save a great amount of anchor fence and indicate only the areas you need to inform the public that it is necessary to register after a certain point.   The places that the organization sees as dangerous and therefore prohibited area shall be marked with a red poster series (new signage 2009), indicating in two languages, spanish and English- this feature along with some red tape . Ramon Corominas, RallyRACC race secretary, confirmed that the organizers "want to return to a way of controlling the security that is simple and civic behavior of the public is the main ally. That will reduce to a minimum the environmental and visual impact, which will affect the quality of the rally at all levels. All that new approach, clear but simple, will result in getting less time assembling and disassembling of the stages and will require less effort in the cleanup following the development of the race. With this new measure, the RACC extends its continued development of proposals that are primarily intended to improve the specialty while reducing costs for WRC.   The previous proposal which was accepted by the WRC Commission with immediate effect (to be released in the Rally Portugal) was the making of the travel diary of the participants, greatly simplifying the structure of the document and making it much simpler and more economical, with a spectacular scale in the cost reduction of 50 to 1, based on the computerized control systems already available to every race.   The RACC club pioneer and continuing innovator in the world of rallying, incorporated in 2008 to RallyRACC the so called virtual bulletin board, which is nothing but to upload the data on the internet (www.rallyracc.com), and immediately upon publication, all documents that are of interest to participants, a service that complements a much faster function classical physical bulletin board. Similarly, the RACC proposed in 2000 a system of timekeeping that was the beginning of the current one, which provides ISC to all the tests and that the WRC RACC continues using round the world, making it impossible for an error or lapse in the system RACC.
